Walking the Ceredigion Path

This was the first section of the Coastal Path that we walked.  We chose this section as we were familier with the area and Helen has a caravan nearby.

It's a stunning part of the Path.  There are lots of places to stay along the way so we decided to make this one a linear walk.  You can see each day's walk on the map. We were staying in pubs and B and Bs directly on the route and the plan was to carry our kit as we walked north from Cardigan to Aberystwyth.  The 'Book value' for this section is 49 miles (more on book values later).

What we didn't quite expect was the rain and sheep shit aspects of the walk.  And the Stairs of Cirith Ungol.

About us

Rhian and Helen are two middle aged women who have known each other since the Mid Cambrian Period. They spend their holidays walking the Welsh Coastal Path and amazingly they are still on speaking terms
